Frequently asked questions
Welcome to Interpsy. Here you will find answers about process, language, and safety — therapy in your language, clearly and without pressure.
What is Interpsy?
Interpsy is a platform where you find psychotherapists who fit your language and concerns. We facilitate the connection — therapy is provided by qualified professionals.
How does online psychotherapy work on Interpsy?
You complete a short orientation, browse matching profiles, and book a session yourself. Sessions take place by video — securely and with clear terms from the start.
Is Interpsy a crisis hotline?
No. Interpsy is not an emergency service or live crisis line. If you are in immediate danger, call your local emergency number (112 in Austria/Germany) or a helpline such as TelefonSeelsorge (142).
How do I find a suitable therapist?
Use search and filters for language, topics, and practical preferences. Profiles describe qualifications and focus areas — you decide who to contact.
Which languages are available?
Interpsy connects you with therapists for multilingual psychotherapy — including German, English, and Turkish. Therapy in your language can make getting started easier.
How much does a session cost?
Fees are set by therapists and shown on their profile. A free first session in Vienna may be available where offered — see details when booking.
Is my data protected?
Yes. Interpsy uses encrypted connections and clear privacy processes. Session content belongs to you and your therapist — the platform is not a medical record system.
Can I choose my therapist freely?
Yes. You select from available profiles. If it is not a fit, you can explore others — the platform does not auto-assign a therapist.
